An Overhaul

I am sick of feeling behind on the housework. I am sick of feeling unorganized. I am sure that is contributing to being tired and feeling like I never have a break. Between working 25+ hours a week, taking care of Sammy and managing a household I'm tired and behind.

I am in need of an overhaul. Where I take a weekend and get caught up on everything! Is that even possible with a 2 year old? Or will I just fall back into the same pattern? This weekend I am committed to trying to get caught back up on life! I will let you know how it goes!

Oh I wish you the best. I think I do that 4 times a year...I can't stay on track - something always gets in my way. Maybe you will manage and teach the rest of us a thing or two.

I hope you can work that out! Wouldn't a mom's weekend be lovely? My mom and her friends go away for the weekend every once in a while and I am jealous. However, she didn't do that when I was a kid, so I guess that gives me something to look forward to. :) Hope your weekend is replentishing!

Oh I know you can do it!!!! You should go to your library and check out Sink Reflections by the FlyLady! She also has a website http://www.flylady.net
The website can be a little overwhelming. I use her technique and love it. I have made some changes to fit our lifestyle. It has helped me get out of the SAHM rut! Good Luck to ya this weekend! Can't wait to hear how it goes!

Oh Lindsay, I feel your pain. It's especially hard when they are small. Try not to be too frustrated. It comes with the territory. I find it helpful to break it down in small jobs.. doing a little each day instead of all at once but that may not work for you. Hang in there and do something to reward yourself!
YOU DESERVE IT!!

I know how you are feeling ~ I work 22.5 hours a week, that and looking after the 4 boys, there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day for anything else!

You are doing a great job with everything. Try not to be too hard on yourself. And if you want to come have a coffee and scones break, call me. I will leave everything in the house just as it is--and then you can see that you're not as behind as some! :) Love you.
