Winners and Waves

So what was on the shelves was a pretty good size mouse. He looked a lot like Remy in Ratatouille. So Heather guessed a rat which is basically the same thing. But Theresa guessed a mouse. So they are both winners :-) I will email you both so I can get your addresses to mail you a little something!

Now onto the waves.. no we are not going to the beach.. I could only wish :-). However, last night Tim and I sat around and tried to figure out Google Wave. We got invites last night from a friend of mine. As we sat there watching videos and trying to get it to do cool things I felt old. It was so different than anything else I had worked with. I couldn't quite wrap my mind around how it worked.

Then it hit me at some point Sammy will understand technology better than me. I will become my parents. Now don't get me wrong my parents are pretty technical for the average person in their generation. However, when Tim and I explain the way something new works it I am sure is mind boggling for them.

I am sure eventually I will understand Google Wave and the best ways to use it. How to think differently about the way internet communication can work. But someday there will be something new that I just don't understand and Sammy will be the expert :-P

Aw, Remy is SOOO cute! Maybe he just wanted to go inside & cook something for you! :)

Technology is ever changing, and it scares me too that someday I will be the "dummy" and my son will be explaining things to me while rolling his eyes!

I consider myself pretty tech savvy; however, I think Connor has already surpassed me and he is only 6! SCARY to think how Kendall will be someday!!!

Eek, a mouse!! Haha! I would have screamed...I wonder why we do that? They're so tiny!

I've heard about Google Wave...and I so understand what you mean about just feeling "old" and not getting it right away.
